Normal People: Watches the teaser, then trailer and then the entire series
Intellectual Me: Watches the entire series 2 times and then watches the teaser just to enjoy all the moments again

Fact: the creator of Squid Game had been looking for a studio to help make the show for the past 10 years and fell into complete debt until now.

The fact that this show blew up out of nowhere is WONDERFUL. Up until it's release, I had never heard of it, but I'm so glad I decided to watch it. It deserves it's good reputation.

Let’s be honest if they made an American remake of Squid Game, Ali would just be Mexican. Alejandro “Ali” Hernandez. Also, Sae-byeok is a Canadian defector.

Some scenes are depressing to watch, but it's worth it.

The north Korea girls and the old man with his friends playing marbles on the game of death was the best scene. A real tears jerker. They didn't rush like the rest, but took their time to enjoy till their last minutes.

The old man should have won, but he put on a nice act on being dementia and gave his friend the chance to make a comeback.
He even revealed it at the end that the friend try to cheat him lol.

The moral of the story for me after watching this.. don't be wasteful and greedy.

Just be happy on what you have.

I feel like a lot of them don't have to die.

Mom: It's just a game it couldn't be that bad.

The Game:

At the end of the series the hair of Seong Gi-hun is not pure red(indicating someone in power), but rather theres a faint color of pink. It means a lighter form of red. He is powerful but his heart remains as a good guy. If compared to people in the game itself. If you notice the front man is pure black indicating that he is evil. The mask of the VIP on the other hand has a color of gold it means that they are rich that controls the society and they wear black clothes indicates that they are evil. Also the red jacket people has a hierarchy as follows. Circle>triangle> Square. Circle has no side, triangle has 3 sides, square has four sides indicating their hierarchy in power.
Edit: Ive also notice that every game the vibrant colors in the games background is gradually becoming darker and darker. Game one if you notice the vibrant of the background is so bright that it contrast the idea of a dark game, they also added a calm song next to it. A good juxtaposition. Second game is also bright but not as bright as the first one. Third game you will notice that the lighting becomes more rigid but theres still a light to it. the fourth game is yellowish form of color but not that bright anymore. The fifth game even at the first part is still not that bright until the front man decided to turn of the light. The last game is not dark nor bright, it means neutrality. A contrast of philosophy between Seong Gi-hun and Sang woo.

I coach figure skating and we play "Red Light Green Light" to teach them how to stop. I have to play it this Saturday with 80 children and it has a WHOLE new meaning now---I may just pass out, LOL.
