maybe some people don't like the orchesta in this álbum, but I really love the fixes with violins and air instruments, sounds like The Doors in the Opera Theather and, in the last song (Soft Parade) sounds like they left the theather and play in the Street as a parade

The whole point in the making of the ‘Soft Parade’ album was the strings and horns. ‘ Touch Me’ without orchestra would be bland. The album was not well received by critics or even fans at its release. But I personally love it. I think it’s a very brave move in The Doors ‘ career.

That was a breath of fresh air. Only a few parts of it felt empty with missing harmonies. If only Paul Rothschild had never tried to move them in the orchestral direction and kept the songs simple and clean.
