From our earliest days, human beings have experienced the emotional need for connectedness. In our lifetimes, this has never been more clear than during the Covid-19 pandemic, when we really saw how essential community and human interaction is for our health and wellbeing.

Now as cities continue to open up, we need to consider how we can design our urban centres to better promote community building.
