► When: Traceroute can be used whenever there is a need to diagnose network connectivity issues or analyze network routing paths.
► Where: Traceroute is a software tool that can be used on various operating systems, including Windows, macOS, and Linux.
► Why: Traceroute is used to identify network bottlenecks, troubleshoot network connectivity problems, and analyze the routing behavior of packets.
► How: Traceroute works by sending a series of packets with increasing time-to-live (TTL) values and recording the intermediate routers' responses, allowing it to determine the path taken by the packets from the source to the destination.
