► When: The nslookup command is used whenever there is a need to check or troubleshoot DNS-related problems, resolve domain names, or obtain IP address information.
► Where: The nslookup command is used in the command-line interface (CLI) of Linux systems and is available on most Unix-like operating systems
► Why: The nslookup command is used to diagnose and resolve DNS-related issues, verify DNS records, and perform DNS lookups for debugging network problems.
