Question: If I were going to build an Android app that lets user vote between two (making this up) actors ... and I have over 1, 000 actors ... should I use Firebase for this? I'd be querying things like "who were the top 5 vote getters in May", for example. Thanks!

Hey Chris, great series on Firebase. How do you properly redirect to the page you want your user to land on after authenticating? When I put a js redirect into the onAuthStateChanged I got stuck in an endless loop. Thanks again for the great videos.

Thanks for the introduction Chris. Very well explained. I'm using Firebase realtime database for a chat application and have a backup in MySQL database. One of the major problems I have faced is that it takes a lot of time to migrate some data to Firebase (eg: Adding a new key-value pair to existing objects in Firebase) because you have to call the API multiple times. Is there any way to handle this?

I'm using Firebase for my Game with around 10k active users. My experience is that it is great for certain things and if you know Firebase suits your needs it can be great. But it has it's flaws. Flaws that sometimes you can't go around and sometimes solving even the simplest problem can be a headache trying to solve the 'Firebase' way. That eventually becomes frustrating and the lack of support certainly doesn't help. So I'd say you are right, Firebase is great if you know you won't have to meet Firebase's dead ends, if it does not exactly fits your project, it's is better not to use it.

I have to develop an android application with Firebase but some of my friends are saying that if your firebase's database crosses some limit then you will face some retrieving problems.
