I want you to know that you have helped me immensely the way you explain and teach its very unique to me. Again Thanks and God Bless you.

I appreciate your Prayers, Brother. Thanks for the informative video as well! I'm building a detached garage and I don't want any trouble from the inspectors.

Asking for clarification on "garage bay." For example, could you run an additional 15-amp circuit to the ceiling for the garage door opener? Due to it's location, it's going to service fixed equipment, not be used for plugging & unplugging.

Hey coach, so roughing in a detached garage.. if I run a dedicated 20A GFCI duplex receptacle in the center of each bay would that suffice the EV charger requirements? Aside from running an additional GFCI 20A circuit for the garage for all other receptacles. Thank you 🙏 I’m advance

Do you know if this requirement is for Ontario too? I have a double attached garage and was going to install 4 recepticles on this circuit. One for each bay and one for a door opener on each side using a 14-2 15A breaker. So from what I understand these 4 recepticles need to be on a 20A 12-2 wire. Correct?

Do you wire the garage door opener on the line or load side of the gfci?

If a garage is detached and only has an external light co trolled by a switch in the house; is it "powered"?

Hey Coach, here in northern Colorado, we have inspectors that are requiring the garage door receptacles on a different circuit than the required 20 amp bay circuit. They said the door opener receptacles are located more than 5.5' off the ground so they shouldn't be on the same circuit. The code section doesn't seem to support that to me. Have you ran across this before?

I have trouble with a garage circuit NOT serving the garage bay. Am I reading this right that they mean lighting or door openers inside? IOW, not serving the floor space with readily accessible receptacles? Does that part include receptacles and lighting on the outside as a separate circuit? BTW, the phrase "off of" is not proper English. The correct word is FROM.
