How to tie high low rigs/ teaser rigs for fishing

This is how I tie my high low rigs for surf fishing along with how I tie a teaser rig for fluking/ throwing plugs

Only issue with this way is if the line is too thick for the eye you’re screwed

I like the T knot, but this appears to be more pronounced with keeping the hook away from the line. It appears there may not be a need for a float anymore or a float may not be strong enough to keep the twisted line up. Thank you!!
