This is one of the best videos I've seen, demonstrating how to tie a paternoster rig. Doing it on the black cloth with white coloured line clearly outlines how to tie the rig.

Thank you my adhd brain couldn’t comprehend the visual of other dropper loops on YouTube, yours was the best visual and actually understood the whole process. 🙏thank you!

Great easy to follow vid. I simply drill out the holes of the sinkers allowing the knot to pass through and thus a shorter loop. Steve 🇦🇺

This video is simple and easy to understand. Large white line on dark background, slowly laid out is perfect to help me learn this quickly.
Thank you for making it!

You just gave me a great idea with the dropper loop knot on the hook

Thanks for the video. Ive lost some big reef fish when the line breaks at the hook when just looping the hook on with 80lb mono. I was leaning towards a 3 way swivel but will try your rig.

the second way you tied the hook is called a palomar knot, very good 100% knot if done properly

So many things in life, such as tying knots, seem difficult with two hands, but could be pretty easy with three hands. Makes me wonder why we evolved with only two when a third—especially a center hand—would be so useful.

Great video! Can you cut the hook look to make it longer? My guess is no it'll unravel

I prefer to tie the dropper loop first, and then the weight loop. I find it easier to get the weight close to the hook, if I really want that bait on the bottom.
