2019 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting (2)

The staff of Reuters received a 2019 International Reporting Prize “for expertly exposing the military units and Buddhist villagers responsible for the systematic expulsion and murder of Rohingya Muslims from Myanmar, courageous coverage that landed its reporters in prison.” The “notable contributions” of imprisoned journalists Wa Lone and Kyaw Soe Oo were singled out in the citation.
