Stay humble! Kendrick Lamar accepts the Pulitzer Prize

His 2017 album, Damn., became the first non-classical and non-jazz album to be awarded the Pulitzer Prize for Music. And on Wednesday, Kendrick Lamar accepted his accolade during a ceremony at Columbia University in New York, New York. The 30-year-old Compton-born rapper did not comment as he received the award, he simply smiled and shook hands with the presenter as he was given a standing ovation.

I'm not a fan of Drake or Kendrick, but why did Drake think, "Hey, you know what? I think I can lyrically go bar for bar against the first rapper to ever win a Pulitzer Prize bc of the dynamic written content and unique rhythmic dynasty Kendrick planned and executed on one of his albums?"
