Would you need to assign User Type drop-down option during sign-up such that the end user can choose one option or another? Or do you go down the route such that during sign-up everyone is a buyer but then they have the option to switch to a seller if they want?

and how do we assign another datatype were the sellers and the customers data get stored in such a way that when we introduce a product that specific product gets assigned to their respective sellor like for example in a muti vendor website when a customer places an order on two different products from two different websites the order request goes to the specific sellers assigned to their product

Forgive me being a little dense but how do I apply it? Say I create a product to list. How does that product only associate with me and no one else?
