Better late than never, eh?
Hitman is a series of games by IO interactive that follows the life of international master assassin, the mysterious Agent 47, as he is contracted by the I.C.A. to take out high profile (usually criminal) targets around the globe.
I'm a relative newcomer to the Hitman series, having started with 2012's 'Hitman: Absolution'. But 2016's 'Hitman' and 2018's Hitman 2' have cemented the series as one of my absolute favourites.

I meant to have this out back in November/December but my fallout 76 video took a lot longer than planned so you can have it now! As the first official Stupendium video of 2019! Happy new year!

The Stupendium is a musician, animator and content creator, creating weird, wonderful and usually incredibly nerdy songs and animations. Join them on their journey to obscure, niche internet stardom! They have some pretty decent videos, wonderful facial hair and a great sense of discomfort describing themself in the third person.

Agent 47 is so dedicated to his job, he grew hair, a mustache, and posed as a rapper.

Man, this whole rap talking about Agent 47 as if he’s a master of stealth. When I play him, he’s an unwieldy god of chaos with a shovel and a shotgun

The fact that all the Stupendiums are killing each other throughout the song in time with the lyrics is amazing.

Rumor has it that Stupendium spends weeks on end writing his raps, buying the costumes, and composing the song.

And it's always perfect. Every single time.

One thing i've noticed that distinguishes this particular rap from many of your others-
In all of your others, there's so much raw emotion infused into your tone and vocabulary, the two main examples being the defiant rage in your voice at the end of the Frostpunk rap, and you sounding on the verge of tears in the final verse of the RDR2 one.
This one, however-
The very vast majority of this is in a dead, flat tone.
And normally that'd be a bad point.
But given the subject matter, and the very way 47 himself speaks,
it just works.
so
_fucking._
*_well._*
a pat on the back, Stupendium. Great job!

The detail that differentiates you from other fellow game rappers is that you use a completely different theme for the video and melody depending on the subject, and THAT is the reason you're my favorite artist around here! Keep it up Greg, it's a pleasure to listen to your works!

Wow, the whole west-coast gangster backing a British rapper sound is as terrifying as 47's barcoded bald head. Well done! I'm creeped out. Awesome song.

One of the thing I love about Stupendium, and this song especially, is that it can paint a picture or a scene in your head from the lyrics alone. I mean, the line: "For a reckoning a second into catching the glare of a barrel when the bullet's already in the air". Like, imagine that in your head. A snapshot in time of a man meeting his end, a mere second away before he's nothing more than a corpse.

That imagery, the emotions. There's so much you can unpack just from a line! This is why a lot of people call you an incredible creator. And I object nothing to that statement.

isn't it tragic how someone can die on accident simply by touching the replay button?

You REALLY need to make an album by this point. This is top notch.

Just like an actual assassin, this song is smooth, cold and calculated. Excellent job, stupes!

Something I haven't seen anyone comment on yet - How there are actually TWO voices singing in perfect unison. There's the higher, singing voice, but there's also a deeper talking voice in the background. It's not a chorus or duet where it's clearly two people singing, they're saying the same things at the EXACT same time like a single person with two voices! Perfect for 47!

You’ve done it again, can’t seem to make a bad song huh? Haha, I loved the tone of this rap, not to over the top but kind of menacing at the same time.

You always nail the tone of your songs with the game that you’re rapping about, it’s crazy tbh

Lets hope this video doesn’t get a silent death though
