This acctually happened to me and I literally just got the charger bit out of my iPad like 5 mins ago, I used a sewing needle to get it out btw.

That happened to me once, the good thing is, I didn’t even need to call someone, I just pulled it out, and the port still works

When I was younger I actually got it stuck and I cried like crazy and with the power of a wrench I got it out

Had this happen to me. We tried everything at home so we reluctantly went to the Apple Store. Took them over an hour to get it out. Thankfully they didn’t charge a dime.

i think the best part about cleaning a phone is getting all the dust out the charging port its so satisfying

This happened with my iPad, but with the headphone plug. The iPad got old so I eventually got a new one, but it was very annoying and the shop couldn’t help at all.

Same thing happened to a 6s I had. Bad quality chargers will do that. The top piece will somehow break off and get stuck in there. A pair of tweezers and careful maneuvering got it out though.

I have had this happen with cheap no name cables. It took me using a snapped in half tooth pick and super glue to get the lightning “head” out of my iPads port. And stuck to reputable brand cables after that and it haven’t happened since. I didn’t want to shred the inside of the port trying to use a needle to grab the edge. It was what you pulled out but snapped evenly and still had the plastic/contacts on it not just the metal frame you pulled out. Mine broke like 8/10 into the port with just the cable with a tiny nub that separated.
