THIS VIDEO IS A RECONSTRUCTION OF THE FOLLOWING SITUATION IN FLIGHT:

29-JUL-2020. A CommutAir Embraer EMB-145XR (E45X), performing flight UCA4948 / C54948 from Washington Dulles international airport, DC (USA) to Presque Isle international airport, ME (USA), was departing from runway 30 at Dulles airport when the controller reported about smoke or leaking from right the wing. The pilots decided to return.

TEXT VERSION OF COMMUNICATIONS (Read if subtitles in video were fast):

TOWER: UCA4948, you appear to have liquid or smoke dripping off the right wing of the aircraft. Looks white in color.

TOWER: UCA4948, From the tower, it appears the smoke or liquid is coming from about the last quarter of the wing, from the wing in toward the aircraft.
UCA4948: Roger, it might be fuel leaking from the vent there. Anyway, we'll come back in land, UCA4948, stand by.
TOWER: UCA4948, roger, are you declaring an emergency?
UCA4948: Negative.

HOW I DO VIDEOS:
1) I monitor media, airspace, looking for any non-standard, emergency and interesting situation.
2) I find communications of ATC unit for the period of time I need.
3) I take only phrases between air traffic controller and selected flight.
4) I find a flight path of selected aircraft.
5) I make an animation (early couple of videos don’t have animation) of flight path and aircraft, where the aircraft goes on his route.
6) When I edit video I put phrases of communications to specific points in video (in tandem with animation).
7) Together with my comments (voice and text) I edit and make a reconstruction of emergency, non-standard and interesting situation in flight.

Good video mate, just wondering, you planning to cover the air France incident that happened yesterday that returned to Paris due to a fuel leak?
