Yeah sorry for what my friend said on Twitter, he was overreacting, and I don't want to start a flame war or anything.
Anyways...
Thankfully I don't have any bad PSU's, even the ones in my Old PC's have worked just fine without any problems to this day.

As someone who recycles a lot of stuff into new systems I get a lot of milage out of some OEM power supplies and when they do konk out I offer the choice of the cheaper, but most likely less reliable recycled OEM one or a more expensive newer one, guess which people usually get?

The best and most important component of your rig is the PSU Unit , OK, fine and dandy, but what brands ? the poster did not mention the brands or makers...a lot of this units are made in china. PC power and cooling was a CA based PSU maker but they are manufacturing now in China...it is like there is no escape from Chinese claws.
I opted for Thermaltake Case and both including the PSU are made in Taiwan. Still, I would like to know the poster's opinion or suggest as to what brands we should consider based on his experience.
I currently Have PC Power & Cooling, NZXT, and a Chinese brand. End.
