I just want to come here and say you might have one of the best v bands in the market bro, especially for the price ! Had my exhaust setup for 2 years and they are still in mint condition ! Just bought an rv6 pcd that I’m going to swap the 3 hole flange to the v band so I can have a complete v band setup! Salute !

I bought “Evil” branded V-band clamps for my 2.5” stainless exhaust and found them to be quite impressive. Outside of counterfeit V-Bands & NiCop Tubing, these are self aligning, ring-stop and 0.80” thick pipe walls, so………

Just so everyone knows -- and this is not a joke -- the V-clamp was originally known as a Marman Clamp after Marman, the manufacturer. Marman is a portmanteau of "Marx" and "Manufacturing."

The "Marx" refers to its owner and the designer of the Marman Clamp, Zeppo Marx. Yes, THAT Zeppo Marx from the Marx Brrothers.

One of the first significant uses of Marman Clamps was as the B-29 bomb bay Drop Mechanisms for both the Fat Man and Little Boy atomic bombs dropped on Japan.

Zeppo was a brilliant man. His wife, Barbara, divorced him and married Frank Sinatra.

That self lining ones are coo but not A need the clamp itself alines the 2 flanges.

I added some on my Y pipe connected to my LS headers. They leak slightly. Could I add some exhaust putty to the flanges to try to seal them?
