Was easy we didnt buy the photos, we didnt buy watches that were overpriced, we ate at free places that were really good, didnt need wifi, and we did our own excursions for much cheaper. If your a naturally frugal person it's not hard at all to save on a cruise and still have a great time.

I can honestly never see myself saving money on a drinks package, as drinks packages cost a few hundred to well over a thousand dollars, and I would never drink that much. I would honestly save more money buying drinks individually. I don't spend hundreds of dollars per month on drinks at home, why would I on a few day to couple week cruise?

I suggest avoiding those watch sales. No value to them. I had just bought two Invicta watches on Amazon before the cruise and those two same model watches were on "sale" onboard for over $100 more than what I paid for them. No real bargains.

One of the worst ways to spend money on a cruise is the "Special X% off" sales. Many of the items such as watches and jewelry can be found for better prices in port or even on Amazon, they just lure you in with the promise that you're getting a good deal when you are not.

Do they still sell the 10 drink card? I do not drink like I was 21 anymore so a drink package will be wasting money for me.

Get a 30 day international wifi data package through your cell phone provider before your cruise, it allows you links up to the ships wifi signal, you can use it on islands that have cell service, its cheaper and you can use one device as a hotspot for other devices.

We didn't buy the drink package prior because we didn't think we'd drink enough to get our moneys worth and then once we got on the ship, they had buy one package, get 50% off the second! And the sales guy gave us extra drink cups for the kids for free! Definitely saved heaps by waiting to purchase on the ship.

Don't get sucked into buying Elemis products from the Spa. If you go to the Spa for any treatments, they WILL try to sell to you. If you need wi-fi wait till you're onshore. Find out where the crew go to get connected (there's a good chance it's the local Hard Rock Cafe, in the European cruises).

if you don't pay the full amount on the non-refundable cruise you can still get your full refund.  as long as it's not completely paid for.  so you do a payment plan, or pay for all but a small portion then pay that last bit off on the final pay day.  at least that way you can change/cancel up to that point.

Hello, I am going on a cruise for the first time this summer on Symphony of the Seas, with my family who it will also be the first cruise for them as well.

1st Question: So I am 15 y/o close to 16 at the time of our cruising. I was wondering if I would be able to go in to the Solarium for some peace and quiet. I believe that the age needed for the Solarium is 16, but I can easily pass off to be 17ish. So do you think I would be allowed in?

2nd Question: Do you have a schedule for your live streams? They are great, but I often miss them.
