I’m a volunteer firefighter and just got back from a structure fire. It’s 2:14 in the morning, I’m tired and wired so I can’t sleep, and I’m heading straight to work from here in 3 hours to support my 30 weeks pregnant wife.

My ex is starting to learn this lesson the hard way. She abused me and her kids. I was the only thing standing between total chaos and instability. I was forced out, but I resisted as much as I could for as long as I could, because I wanted to delay the inevitable for the kids development. I literally learned how to just be silent, but she would follow me around harassing me and taunting me and stuff. Her youngest was two whenever she and I got together. A couple of days before we finally split and separated homes, without any lead up conversation, the now 11 year old said, "dad. I know you're not the way mom and my sisters say you are." I really feel like that was God telling me it's okay to walk away now. Now I'm being alienated away from that child, but I have faith and showed her a decent path. If nothing else, I look forward to talking to her when she's 18, unless something bad happens to either one of us.

I worked with a woman, who said this exact same words. "Men are so useless" After work, as I made to the parking lot, she asked me to HELP change her flat tire. I told her " WHY! I AM USELESS.

I saw a Twitter post where a woman said, "Just found out I'm pregnant. Have an ultrasound in two weeks to find out if I'm having a daughter or an abortion." Really think about this, and then imagine what would happen if a MAN had said something like this about having a daughter. REALLY THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS MEANS.

Men are absolutely NOT useless! As a woman, I'm SO SICK of the sexism of modern feminism. We have everything we have today, for the most part, because of men. Men built skyscrapers (designed & engineered them too). Electricity, plumbing, automobiles...you name it.

Men are fantastic! Only the insecure need to push others down to lift themselves up.

I love these women, because now there no expectations from me to do anything for women that I don’t want to do. I will explain that I am into encouraging them to be strong independent women, that they don’t need men to do anything for them because they can do it for themselves. Just as an aside, we have 7 remotes in our home for various electrical items and my wife, who I love with all my heart, still asks me to switch the tv on and change the channel. So ladies, if you can’t switch the tv on or off, how do you cope with the rest of the world? I don’t care what you think, I know my own worth in the world. My world’s great. Stay strong brothers!

People complain about social media hurting people, but I would argue that most of the damage was already done by traditional media long before social media existed. Traditional media has been toxic for a long time.
