I've just found your channel, didn't even know of your existence before and damn! one of the easiest "subscribe"s of my life! great content, loved it.

Hey Patrick, just wanted to drop a comment to let you know that I really appreciate your content. I came across your channel only last week but I'm literally devouring all your videos. And you are one of the few content creators (not just poker related) whose videos I watch from start to finish without ever wanting to skip even just a minute. I've been watching Brad Owen's vlogs for entertainment for a long time, but I love watching your stuff for education. Thanks for teaching us and keep it up!

Hi there.been enjoying your content especially the play and explain i think is really good to learn and implement stuff in my game.
What i been struggling recently is 4 bet pots especially as a caller because i dont have clear ranges in my head and i dont think there is much content about it out there.i mean i get it it s not common and u might not gain so much ev by playing in 4 bet pots if u run with ur kk into aa i get that, but knowing how to react to 4 bets i think allows u to open up and 3 bet not to mucj wider but at least close to the right frequency if that makes sens.
I would love to see if u decide to post anything related to that!
Good luck with everything u doing and keep it up!

Note:

42:40 My delivery here was not good. I didn't mean to say "all low stakes players are bad at poker, " I just meant that I don't think they are significantly outperforming a solver in real games. Sorry if I offended or discouraged anyone :)

Would you recommend these simplified strategies at the lower stakes? If my notes on your videos are correct here is what I have written down:

- we open raise and get called and are OOP OTF --> check range
- we 3bet and get called and are OOP OTF --> check range
- we open 3x from SB and get called by BB --> check all boards where there are no cards higher than an 8 (8LL) and bet small on all boards containing a 9 or higher (9XX)

Also would love you to expand on how we proceed on turns and rivers after checking range OTF. Thanks for some very helpful and well made videos!!!

Can you clarify how you get the impact factor (34:30). What do you mean by "How much money goes into the pots when it does occur"? Is it the size of the pot at that moment? or the avg eventual size of the pot? something else? Thanks

I agree - these publicly available trainers are not much of a threat, even without a time delay. The EV just isn’t there. A decent player at least, has more EV available to them by playing more tables with a comparatively worse strategy than one or a few tables with a very strong theoretical strategy. The real concern are the private RTA tools that can screen scrape, and have a player that can also make certain adjustments at key spots.

Regarding the use of a tool like GTOW to measure the accuracy of a player’s play to determine cheating - I imagine this can get them into the ball park of making this determination. However, say the cheat is using completely different inputs. How effective will GTOW or a similar tool be in this case?

Thanks for the simplified bvb 3bet range! Do you think you can do the same for the btn vs bb situation in a later video or on your twitter for example?

Hey Patrick, thank you so much for providing such a great video! I love this video and I've watched it many times and now I have a question about the BvB SB cbet strategy from 16:53.
You mentioned that we can range bet 30% except 8 high boards or lower. Then I checked the solution (from GTOBase, but I guess not much difference from GTO Wizard) and I can confirm that we can range check at 8 high board or lower because the check frequency is around 78%. But the bet frequency at 9 high board or higher is 49%. I think we cannot range bet 30%. Did I miss something?

When u continue down the Gsme tree after the flop…will u node lock and turn hands into pure calls/folds/raises to simplify outputs on future streets???

I’m a huge fan of your work man, nice video! What do you consider to be too much of an ev loss to simplify the flop?

how would rounding a flop strategy work for lets say HU SNG 25bb and less deep. a lot of the time the solver suggest we bet everything sometimes. love the content btw

question... what about RTAs with integrated HUDs that aren't actually playing GTO but are instead deviating and playing exploitatively, mimicking a human, by using the opponent's stats.

Hallo Patrick. Just went through Zenith Poker's video, ,Why More Bet Sizes Are Better'' Now I watch You telling me to simplify. Little bit confused. Could You please tell me how would You verify those two concepts?
