See me personally something about smash (probably the speed and the difficulty of pulling off certain moves) is just way harder to grasp. Multiversus on the other hand is way easier to pick up and play. I will admit though MV is very unbalanced atm but it has ENDLESS potential if they start focusing on balancing. Also I don't think MV would have as big of a playerbase if SSB never existed. SSB walked so MV could run. That's a good thing though, I like MV more.

So Righttt!!! as Smash Ultimate Player I really enjoy the Platform Fighting Game Genres, and I welcome the other games diving into the same Genre, It just allows people to take their pick, and allows everyone to have fun with their favourite Characters. It is a Win Win For Everyone To Try out and see the variations these different Games Offer. It Gives out Diversity to The Game Libraries we Have.

I’ve had endless fun with multiverses if someone says it’s a smash clone then 1. That’s cope get good kids 2. The amount of work and details in the game is honestly more impressive than smash bros, better and unique ring outs, completely able to customize your own stuff and even being able to customize your characters to make them feel more like your character, this game is amazing and honestly way more fun than smash bros has ever been, easy to pick up and play with most characters and the ones that are “ hard” just take little time and skill to play and learn, better unique fighting animations loaded with references to said individual characters and the voice acting in multiversus is just the cherry on top of all the other good stuff I mean awesome shop, fun events that also have rewards that make it worth while to play I mean the team behind multiversus clearly cares about their game and the player fan base if you don’t like it you clearly don’t have taste or like to have fun.

I say the best way to like explain it like smash bros for people/friends that havent heard or played, is like that its a console wide version of it yknow? Like smash is nintendo only, but multi is on every console but nintendo but i feel like on purpose to smash bros😂

actually a better comparison for moba would be TF2, since everything is compared to it as a "knockoff" but i still prefer tf2 over any other moba game
