Standing or Sitting Desk: How The Correct Desk Position Will Help Support Good Posture!

Показать описание
As many of us sit for a good majority of the day, due to using pc's and laptops, we need to consider the posture we are in when we are sat at our workspaces.

If you work at a standing desk, make sure the height allows you to have your arms bent at 90 degrees and you can rest your forearms comfortably on the desk in front of you as you use your keyboard.

Your monitor should be directly in front of you, at eye level, so that you are not twisting, looking up, or looking down excessively.

If you have a seated desk, then you should make sure you can keep that same position when you are in your chair.

Your chair should also have adjustable features, so that you can support your lower back, your head, and your arms where necessary.

I drive a truck and I’ll feel my shoulders and neck going forward, then I have to remind myself to sit straight and roll my shoulders back.

Would it be effective to use a desk cycle as an alternative to standing? I would appreciate your feedback on this matter. Please do reply.

Hi doc, thank you for this video! I have everyday high pain at low back and neck, I cannot find the right position. I think We are the same height (around 184 with shoes)
Can you share with me your height desk in sitting position? I would like to know especially your distance between chair and top desk! Thank you in advance for your reply!

Hi sir, I hope you are doing well. I am using a standing desk for a few days now. I just love working on my pc while standing up. I usually stand for 50 min and sit for 10 min (as a rest). Is it okay if I continue this for 5-6 hours a day?
