The problem I used to have with silicone was having it cure in the tube between uses. I found by removing 1/4" of silicone from the end of the tip and replacing it with petroleum jelly that it keeps the air out and greatly extends the life of the tube.

Yup. Love the stuff.

Latex caulk has many uses, too, and an object can be later removed if you want, but only if you want. Will hold where superglue won't.

The black RTV silicone also works wonderfully to fix cracks in leather and attaching a spoiler to your car. Just make sure the area is clean before applying this silicone. The spoiler will not come off easily if prep done right.

Great video as always! Saw something online today about sealing the end of a tube of sealant. The person had a can of "plastic dip" and just dipped the nozzle of the tube and let it cure. Custom fitted cap for the sealant tube! Have not had chance to try it yet, but it looks like it wold work. Keep up the sweeeet videos
