I lied to my mom sometimes but I regret lying to her when she yells at me for things that I do and I didn’t do I get scared, and I accidentally lie and I forget to tell the truth and I get in trouble

Reminds me of an episode of “Leave It To Beaver” when Beaver got a “D+” in arithmetic on his report card, but it was Eddie and “Lumpy” who changed the grade to a “B+” to get him into trouble which was a mean trick.

I hate when parents withhold gifts from their kids cuz of grades. It’a mean and makes them feel like they’re worthless if their grades are bad or they are misbehaving . Gifts are an act of love and it’s malicious to withhold them

I could never cheat on my report card because it wouldn’t have ended well for me plus my parents were reasonable in the grades that I got whether they were Fs or not. Honesty is truly the best policy

He should have just asked his mom for help in the beginning so his mom can get him a tutor. Lying is not worth getting in trouble. Once you reach your high school years especially your junior and senior year it gets harder.

This video saddens me. Kids don't see things any differently than as a kid. I know he was in the wrong, but so was the mother. She should have let him know about his grandmother. If he was struggling that much with school, it's unlikely he was just going to turn everything around in one report card.
