I live in Skiathos every summer. A few people get regularly injured, doing this. There is a multitude of signs warning them to stay further back, but they are sadly ignored. My wife did the same, but i had warned her, if she feels she can't stand, to simply sit down behind the barriers and hold from on the vertical struts, which she did.

I am so jealous of those tourists, this seems like such a cool spot for plane spotting. But, uhh, maybe step back a little and use a camera to get the real close up shots like the other pros there 😅

Iberia was prolly a near by reposition flight with no passengers they often don’t raise landing gear is it’s close enough and the no passengers explained the hard rotation
