Sonic 3 (1994) intro in 3D

One of the most memorable intros of any Sonic game! I couldn't resist trying out my new 3D stop-motion technique on this beauty. This was animated frame by frame using an original technique that I have spent almost 3 years trying to make possible. I hope this video serves as a homage to one of the best video game intros from my childhood. Plenty more where this came from!

Brilliant stuff! Your hard work really shows! In particular, I love Angel Island coming into view in 3D parallax. I always watch (and listen to!) your work multiple times to get as much as I can out of them, enjoy them again, and to see the skill and hard work that went in to creating these! By the way, I made another comment as a reply to you with a few more opinions given. ^_^

This was what the saturn could have been, it was very well suited for 2.5D style games with vibrant colors and sprite animations. Shame everything was about full 3D during that era. If the saturn came instead of CD, Sega probably would have won the console wars for a good while i think.
