The first episode of a new segment, Tabletop Mystery Game News (Live). In this series I will look at newly announced or released tabletop mystery games. This will include escape room games, puzzle games, cold case / case file games, detective games, narrative mystery games, etc. We will cover crowdfunding, retail, and subscription games. This will be live, so that the audience can add context and share any other discoveries.

Assuming I continue this series, any suggestions for ways to improve this segment, both in terms of camera/tablet views, structure of the episode, pacing, etc.?

I played deadly secrets when I ordered it from Etsy in the regular packaging/format. It was the first time I left a review for any game - I loved it. Coming from Canada it was especially nice to play one that is based in a city that I have spent a lot of time in. PS love this type of episode and would appreciate them on a regular basis to cut through the noise.

Very interested in this format, but seldom get to watch them live!

I love this new format! Thank you.
But... I'm a little afraid that it will cost me a lot of money 😂

This was great, thank you! If it's feasible, including links in the description would be awesome.

Hey Jesse, I love the new format.
The Post Mortem series by Mysterious Package Company seems to have gotten a revamp. They have new cover images and more importantly, the price is only half of what it previously was. From what I can remember about your review, the price was one of the main downsides of the game. I can’t really tell if the content of the box is the same, even after the drastic price drop. Thought this might be interesting for the next episode.

I'm very interested in the two Star Trek games, but they are really expensive. It would be great if you could play Murders at Karlov Manor in the next few days to help me decide.

Speaking of trying games, has anyone ever tried the Key Enigma games? They look like very high end home escape room games with tons of props and production values. Priced in the $30-55 range.
