6. Mandukya Upanishad | Chapter 1 Karika 6-9 | Swami Sarvapriyananda

Swami Sarvapriyananda teaches one of the shortest and most profound upanishads accompanied with Gaudapada's Karika. This lecture covers Chapter 1 Karika 6-9.

Karika 6:
prabhavaḥ sarvabhāvānāṃ satāmiti viniścayaḥ | 
sarvaṃ janayati prāṇaścetoṃśūnpuruṣaḥ pṛthak || 6 ||

Karika 7:
vibhūtiṃ prasavaṃ tvanye manyante sṛṣṭicintakāḥ |
svapnamāyāsarūpeti sṛṣṭiranyairvikalpitā || 7 ||

Karika 8:
icchāmātraṃ prabhoḥ sṛṣṭiriti sṛṣṭau viniścitāḥ |
kālātprasūtiṃ bhūtānāṃ manyante kālacintakāḥ || 8 ||

Karika 9:
bhogārthaṃ sṛṣṭirityanye krīḍārthamiti cāpare | 
devasyaiṣa svābhāvo'yamāptakāmasya kā spṛhā || 9 ||

Sir but waking seems far from real if this waking body of mine vanishes then automatically dreaming and deep sleep would go hence they both seems nothing but just a sub set of real waking me

Swamiji, I have a doubt.
All these states happens only in the planet earth which is the only habitable planet. Why God has not created any beings in other planets? If consciousness is pervading in the whole universe, then why there is no life in other planets ? Please guide me and clear my doubt. Thank you
