Tracking the Tropics: Invest 94-L could become season's next depression

It appears that activity has gradually slowed down in the tropics recently – especially for any sort of tropical system to impact the Tampa Bay area since Hurricane Idalia.

However, the Atlantic Hurricane Season is still in session, and there's a tropical disturbance that could become the season's next tropical depression this week.

Invest 94-L has a 70% chance of developing into a tropical depression over the next 48 hours, and an 80% chance of development through the next seven days, according to the National Hurricane Center.
