I love the ocean so much. I get why people find it scary, it makes sense actually, but something about the water is so alluring. For me, it's an ethereal experience to look out at the ocean and not be able to see any land, it makes me realize how big the world is and it makes me feel better knowing that what I do really won't matter, nothing I do could physically affect a world of this size. It's honestly so relieving knowing that you alone won't make a difference.

The best compliment I've ever gotten was at my favorite swimming place, Hunter Springs FL. I have this pink monofin mermaid tail that I use to practice swimming in. Since spring water doesn't hurt my eyes, I usually swim without goggles, and I hope to give off a more mermaid-y vibe.

Well, I came ashore to rest (bc swimming in a fin like that is hard), and this girl came up to me and told me I looked like a mermaid, even without my fin on. Bro it made me so happy, and now I'm searching to get a job as a professional mermaid for parties and special events
