I appreciate your thorough and detailed review of this palette. I especially like the comparisons with other palettes. The Huda Beauty palettes seemed very similar and so did the Pat McGrath Divine Rose palette. I don’t have any of those, but I still don’t intend to buy this one. The colors are not for me. Too cool for my skin tone. I got the ND Bronze palette and love it! If I was ever going to invest in a PML palette it would be the Divine Rose one. I prefer that one to this. I found this new palette kind of disappointing.

When I think of retro color I think of those 40s and 50s technicolor movies, like those gorgeous hues in Disney’s Sleeping Beauty. The pallet is pretty but if she was going to go with that theme it could’ve been a lot more exciting.

Great review! It’s beautiful but I’ll skip for now since three of the shades (amara, nude mauve and helio) are already in the Lila palette that I have. It is a beautiful color story but to be honest with myself I’m not sure how much I’m gong to use it. I have the Lila palette, Melts’s She’s in Parties, DOC Marvelous Mauves and PML Divine Rose I. Plus I picked up PMLs Heutopian, Too Faced The Natural Nudes (during the Ulta sale), and yesterday Natasha’s Love (it was 1/2 off at Sephora yesterday) palettes. I’m going to try holding off on getting anymore palettes this year.
