this is how they made yu gi oh cards

Gus Johnson plays all sorts of characters, from Mitchell Robbins to JK Rowling to some guy in God's Country to Imbiamba Jombes to filming videos with his mom to pillow guy to the my pool guy to the Gus & Eddy Podcast to small town reviews to I don't know why I am writing this. I am Gus. I wrote this. Also subscribe to the Gus & Eddy Podcast please. Eddy Burback and I make it and it's ok.

Thanks for watching and sharing! Don't stab people. I'll see you later.

The funny thing is that Thor is describing Monster cards, but all of Gus's ideas could easily be spell cards

Merely imagining these cards has sent me to the shadow realm.

Sounds about right. I grew up collecting these and I stopped right around the time when they started listening to the dude in the hat

People who don't play Yugioh: "What the hell is this, I don't understand the point of this video."

People who play Yugioh: "Is this a documentary?"

Actual Cards:
0:12 "Metal Dragon" or "Red-Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon"
0:25 Some sort of fusion of "Swarm of Crows", "Rocket Arrow Express", and "Madolchepalooza"
0:42 "Summoning Swarm". There's also at least 10 individual bee/wasp cards.
1:06 "Ghost Beef"
1:30 "Marshmacaron"
1:54 "U.A. Playmaker" throwing "Madolche Hootcake's" hat at a building
2:24 Umm... "Instant Fusion" represents ramen noodles... they haven't really gone this far yet.
2:46 "Malicevorous Fork"
3:05 No pinto representation yet, but "Jerry Beans Man" is a fan favorite (and not the only sentient bean card)
3:26 "Javelin Beetle" is clearly clenching up as it prepares to rip a big one
3:53 and 3:59 "Worm Ugly"

"It's a topdown view of a chinese takedown container and it's just OVERFLOWING with mayonnaise." It's so surreal and specific that I'm actually in tear right now.

I kid you not, there is a card named “House of Adhesive Tape.” All of Speg’s ideas are legit

"We either put in a space cowboy or a ninja pirate card."

"Why not combine the two?"

As someone who has never played yu gi oh, I feel like I would buy the Chinese takeout box full of mayo card to use in a tournament.

"It's a bunch of bees.." Alright Battlewasps
"Chinese take out containers overflowing with mayo" Mystic Wok alright
"Let's take a fork.." Maliceverous Fork
