Ichibei and Oetsu carry heavily. Ichibei showed that he is the strongest Pure-Shinigami (technically not a Shinigami, but still), and Oetsu showed high-captain feats. The others didn't show anything beyond captain level.

Y'all i don't think you guys realizd how powerful the rest of zero quad is. Like yes ichiebei and oetsu are powerful and definitely the strongest members. But you fail to realize that the others performed some really impressive feats. The clothier had been able to redress her opponents with boobytrapped clothes in an instant from where they stood and without them realizing it. Doing that to most shinigami would be an instadeath. The hotspring dude, is a master healer and the fastest moving member with offensive capabilities of being able to weaponize his hot springs, which rapidly become fatal to any normal shinigami. The cook, was also a skilled healer but also an incredible trapper and again, any normal shinigami would been stuck permanently in her cage. Squad 0 is definitely no pushover, but when you are going up against the closest thing to god and his most powerful attendants you tend to pale in comparison

Honestly, these guys are way to underrated. Yes, they got utterly clapped by the Quincys, but to be fair, they DID manage to beat most of the Stirnritter before Yahwetch said 'LOL, NOPE!' and brought them all back to life.
