Canon G9X still worth buying in 2022 ?

Are compact cameras like the Canon G9X still worth buying in 2022 when we have decent cameras in our phones? I personally believe they are, just look at some of these pictures. Let me know what you think below.

Love this camera. It still surprises me how small it is. Not the best images, but very good and the only true "pocketable" camera imo.

Is it me or do Canon cameras make sombre photos? I've owned two and i don't dare buy another one cause the shots might have that depressive look on them again. But i really would like this one for its size and quality. Any thoughts?

Canon just doesnt care about its small cameras anymore. this camera is old as dirt and still no new version.
