Apocalypse defending his ideology is the equivalent of a bootstrapping-billionaire saying they "started from scratch with a small loan of a million dollars".

He did follow his faith, survival of the fittest includes using what you come across that can give you the advantage over your prey. When Thanos did it with the gauntlet, that was the living tribunals answer

I was resistant to this series because I was very meh about Kang. But, your narration and explanation has turned me onto it. Keep it up! You are doing awesome work!

It is humorous to see Apocalypse sitting on a throne surrounded by Egyptian hieroglyphics while wearing a belt with a big 'A'

13:20 "An assassin from the past's future and a child from the future's past. This chamber has become a mockery of time." Hot damn son! Somebody slap that on a T-Shirt or a mug.

So Kang dies, without actually dying, because Nathaniel is STILL Him !?

Rob you’re completely wrong about why Kang is telling his younger version he can’t kill him. It has nothing to do with ‘there always has to be a Kang’ or ‘being part of the time stream’ it is about the grandfather paradox. He’s saying that if he truly trained him then if he were killed before ever training him then it’s just an endless causality loop. Read the context of what he’s saying.

You can’t go back in time to prevent the reason why you went back in time because you would have never traveled in the first place.

I heard from a Comic article that Kang sees Dr. Doom as the ONLY One being his Equal.

I promised I'd ask every time I could remember. And that usually happens when rob mentions it. We need a remaster of hickmans FF run. I know it's not tied to anything in the mcu right now but I love that story and the depth that rob has added to his videos would make the video series crazy amazing.

My phone recently died. I lost connection with everything. Your videos were some of my most missed content. Thanks for always putting out top notch vids. 👌 Now I get the joy of catching up on those I missed.

When you said ‘finite points in time that cannot be adjusted’ reminds me of the Dr Strange Disney+ What If series about the ‘absolutes’ and how you can’t change those points. And when DrS does, the universe collapses into him.

This story reminds me of a comic strip from MGDMT: In it, the time traveling space commando is having a coffee in peace, when suddenly a somewhat roughed-up version of himself appears, starts beating him up, manages to grab his coffee and vanish again. At the confused question of what just happened he just answers that he'll go get his coffee back real quick - followed by him traveling back a moment in time and becoming the copy that steals his past version's coffee.

It's basically the same story here. Only it's his girlfriend, and the route he takes to steal his past self's girl is much more complicated.
