I took my son to the cinema when he was 7 years old, in 2002 to see spirit. It was in English, as the translated version was not shown in our cinema. He fully understood what was happening in the movie, despite the fact that he only knew Danish at the time. I've seen this movie 15-20 times since and cry every time even though I know the ending. ❤ Beats Lion King by Miles!! Spirit is totally underrated ❤❤

This scene with young spirit had me crying and smiling as a kid 😢😊 This movie was my childhood, and seeing it again after 20 years, as an adult, it still warms my heart.

I'm happy i grew up watching this beauty of an animation, probably rewatched a few times... extremely underrated

What makes this movie a classic is the fact it barely has any dialouge. With the cavalry officer, the Indian, and Matt Damon narrating as Spirit, I can see why it earns that moniker.

Am I the only one who thinks that spirit looks cute as a colt?

This made me feel better after crying because memories of my dog brought me down. Seeing spirit look at esperanza with a confused look then smiling at her after figuring she was his momma was so heartwarming to me

For the longest time, I thought that Bison gave that long bellow, until I realized that *that* bellow was actually from a camel.

I'm not a horse person, but I love Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron for its emotional story and impassioned lyrics.

My mom, showed me this movie as a young kid. I think like 4-6 years old. I miss her so much, we watched disney movies together all the time when i was a kid. She fed me junk food whenever i wanted, or whatever i wanted for supper... this movie just means so much to me, spirit growing up, and the horse mom watching her silly horse son....

I always felt sorry that Spirit never met his father, I wonder what happened to him? It would have been beautiful to see him there welcoming his new born son.

Whether in animation or real life, horses are truly amazing animals. They, and many animals, deserve our respect and protection.

After watching this movie, it became one of my favorite DreamWorks movies and shows besides The Prince of Egypt, Netflix's Voltron and DinoTrux lol.

Y'know dispite everything, I hate to say it but I think I'm starting to find DreamWorks' 2D movies alot enjoyable than their 3D ones even if their 2D movies like this were short lived lol.
