Episode 14 in this amateur and informal series of videos as we look around some of Britain's railway stations.

ROGART is a request stop and is the 6th one we encounter as we head south on the Far North line towards Inverness.

The station serves the villages of Pittentrail and Rogart which are a short distance away. Right next to the station is Sleeperzzz, a railway paradise and fantastic accommodation. Please see episode 15 of this series for a look around!

Rogart station was opened in 1868. The station buildings are now occupied by Sleeperzzz. The platforms are very low and the step from the train has been aided with platform step blocks.

The level crossing has no gate, and no warning alarm so trains must pass here with caution.

Service trains are provided by Scotrail class 158 DMUs and stop on request at Rogart.

If you wish to read any of the information I have filmed during this video, it may be advisable to pause the frame to give yourself more time to take in the information.

This is my stop. I see Kate from the wonderful Sleeperzzz was trying to appear inconspicuous.
