The evap coils lasted 20 years that is a pretty good lifespan, but the new Heatcraft Intelligen replacement coils are a great upgrade.

Thanks Chris! I'm digging your new form for the closing words. It's much more informal and like a conversation with a student. Might want to stick with the old mic set up, but I'm digging the idea bro. Thanks for this!

Man, you don't even know how much you're helping out us new techs..You take something like this rack system that would initially freak me out and really simplify it down. Keep up the fantastic work

Ive seen this before. Unit pressures looked decent but very hot liquid line. (Lower ambient temps). Clipped the pigtail on the headmaster and it stopped bypassing and showed its true colors (low on refrigerant). All great information Chris!

On a weekend or late in the day I have cut the cap tube on the bypass valve on the power head and that will allow the gas to enter the condenser. Just a quick fix

Yeah that guy in the comments is right. Your videos are really helping out the young apprentices. Some of the work is intimidating to even look at and youre giving us some really good info as to whats going on. Ty

I had EXACTLY the same issue last week, but on parallel rack. Damn lol, thank you Chris. This information will teach future techs and it is very good thing to know about this info you provide in this video. If you planning to do career in this trade, REMEMBER THIS VIDEO!!! It WILL happen to you!

Two decades feels like a long time in this day and age. Then I come across an electrical install from the 70s that's still running some little plant or station and only needs a little TLC. 😅
