Please SHARE this video. What do you think keeps most people in the middle class?

It's not what you make, it's what you keep!

I’m in the middle class. Paying off debt and saving as we speak. Started investing three weeks ago. Two debts will be paid off at the end of May.

Car loans is what keeps people in the middle or lower class the most. Student loans are usually low interest and I never had a large credit card line, so it was easier to crush those debts.

My small, gas-saving ford focus thats paid off was crucial in helping me destroy debt. To this day, I don't use credit cards or finance any type of machine.

Oh wow! I need to get out of the middle with my earnings. I need a side hustle for more income. I'm almost debt free with my mortgage. 😊

This was excellent! We are on the lower side of middle class but have a good net worth. It is not how much you make it is how much you keep and grow. You must live BELOW your income. Yup sacrifice.

That was my past but I've learned so much listening to yours and other wise counsel over the past year that I'm almost free.

Lifestyle creep, I think is probably the hardest to avoid. I’m middle class. I grew up in the country so I don’t have desires for most fancy things. I like and have some nice/quality things. But generally I keep it pretty simple.

When I was doing what I was gifted in, I got stuck in poverty, medical debts, and the poor class.

Honestly, the middle class is getting pushed out. We're probably barely middle class, soon to be poverty level

DTI. Debt to income ratio. People are spending more than they are making.

Who really are the Jones? We should enjoy our lives & not trying to live someone else's life. Some of us have too many ppl pulling on us for financial help. I truly wanted to help someone & they told me they had to go get their eyebrows worked on. I do my own everything. I save money doing my hair, nails, feet, skin care & hygienes. Ppl don't realize how much money u can save brushing your teeth twice a day. It's ok spend money non essentials if u aren't asking others for financial help. Smart Money Bro u actually need to be on a world wide TV channel! I wish I could make ppl drown themselves in your advice! Ppl truly are destroying themselves because of a lack of knowledge! You're giving this advice & some ppl are too stupid to take heed!!!

1:10 - Normally I'd be quick to make extra principal payments on car note (2 for my college twins) or mortgage. However, the interest rates for all are under 2.75% and even my HYSA have been earning more than that for several years now. That doesn't even count returns on other low risk investments (e.g. CDs, T-bills, I-bonds, etc.)

Just doesn't seem worthy the money to me. However, when the time comes to buy another car (for us parents, or for our youngest), given today's rates I'd probably either pay cash or pay it off in 1-2 years.
