Wow, that is awesome performance from just the 911 Carrera S model! Amusing to see the speedometer reading is 20 to 21 kmh over the actual speed at over 290 kmh. But the acceleration numbers are scintillating - hard to believe there will be an even more powerful 811 coming after this one! Great video - thank you!!

Just to get one thing straight, a major reason the speedometer over reads is because it was DESIGNED to. Here in Europe, they do that so that people don’t speed as easily or don’t get ticketed for going slightly over. It might say your doing 72mph on the motorway, but if you’re in a European car, chances are you’re still doing 70 or under

For people wondering about the speedo being inaccurate, its meant to be like that. There is a law where car have to read over for safety reasons. No car will read perfectly bcs that would literally be illegal

It is intresting how many people don't know that cars speedometer is inaccurate. It is law that speedo must show more than your actual speed.

I got brand new 730d well 6 months old and 2 year old 530d. I love porsche so much that thinking of giving both of my bmw for 911. Those are beautiful machines
