I previously worked for Vinfast. Such an interesting experience. We never got to test drive the cars so I’m always curious seeing the reviews

The exterior is absolutely beautiful. I normally am not a huge lightbar fan, but they really did that back correctly. It's unique but not over styled. And the connection swoop from the rear window to the side windows with the V on it is lovely.

As a '24 VF8 Plus with 2 kids, wife and I already agreed to get the VF9 in the next couple of years as well. VF3 potentially if they bring it here. VF is easily the most underestimated automaker in the US.

In Vietnam, this car has been running a lot on the road. It is exported and is running in an international market with a population of one billion in Asia.

Vinfast gotta adjust the prices. This will be a extremely hard seller in Canada. Its 80k$+tx in Canada and thats a lot of money in the EV sector plus the federal gov is stopping the EV incentives. For 20k$ more, you are in the terrain of Lucid and Rivian which are higher end ev's.

Thats almost 1100$ a month lease, 48 months, for the base model without choosing any extras.

In 2025, if you can afford this kind of payment, you won't be looking at Vinfast.

All honesty though, Vinfast has been making some real good vehicles 👍 .

It’s nice. If they offer amazing lease deals like they have on the VF8, I would check them out once we have a dealer near Cleveland. I will say that I think it looks awesome and more premium than an EV9.

Your money, your choice. Hope you have right choice. As you know ( maybe you dont know), In VietNam war, more than milions people were serviced for American author like slaves. And when we victoried in 1975, more than milions people include Vietnames ( used to be), chinese (they lived in VN for a long time before) imigrated to America or Australia. And I don't know how much they hate my country like that.... So, if you care about Vinfast EV, go to showroom, experience it before you want to buy it or not. It doesn't take anythings fron you without a little time. Thank you for your caring. If you don't buy it for some reasons, we will be grateful if you can leave your positive feedbacks on Vinfast websites, we will try to fix it. ❤ Thank you very much.

I'm shocked you had the opportunity to drive one of these.

After all the rebates and incentives this thing comes out to like ~$15k? Hell of a deal.

The design of this car is a masterpiece

I think $60-65k would be a more compelling price point for the VF9. For $80k you can get a base model Volvo EX90, and for ICE cars the Cadillac XT6 starts at $50k. And as others have mentioned the Kia EV9 is another 7 seat EV that offers a much lower price too.

These are really popular in Vancouver, BC.

That's a pretty big ask for an EV from a company I've never heard of from a country I didn't know made

Does anyone else see five snakes/vipers wrapping around on each wheel?

Show of hands. Who has or is spending 80k on a vehicle? Personally I don't know a single person that's in reach for. You're talking a $1500 payment IF you could get 5-6% interest and in 2024 maybe 3% of people have a credit score that good. We've officially left reality behind!

Awesome interior but I like a gage cluster in front of the steering wheel. The outside looks amazing but it's more a wagon then a SUV.
