These are at the top of my list . I'm a 69 yr old player that didn't play for 6 yrs ( health, life etc.). Now getting back and finding myself a senior player . I've had Taylor Made SLDR's since '13, not working for me . Leaning towards these to keep me in the game. Thanks for your vid's, always great . Play on !

Had to post a second time. Shot my 1st even par round in more than 10 years with my Elevens. I love these clubs and don't have even one negative thing to say about them. They are confidence builders and are one club stronger than my old clubs. Anyone over 50 years old should be playing these. I'm playing the best golf of my life and loving every second.

I am amused by how many low handicap Youtube golfers praise the performance of these clubs but always have to add things like, I don't like the looks or they just aren't for me. Ego? Guess what fellas, they aren't targeting low handicappers. If high handicap players can speed up play and enjoy the game more then low handicappers should be encouraging the use of these clubs. I have had a 12 year hiatus from golf due to numerous ailments and 6 major surgeries. I don't care if these clubs quack like a duck when I hit them as long as I can get back on the course and enjoy the game. Thanks for giving these clubs a good review.

I shared your review of these clubs with a guy I know that is 75. He plays 3-4 times a week. He purchased a version of these and told me that he played better than he had in years and had a better time playing due to the ease of the clubs. I have a feeling a better set like the ones you used would produce even more happiness. Thanks for sharing and making golf more fun for those older players who want to keep playing as long as possible.

Just got 5-9 and a PA all hybrid, I’m a younger guy (34) but relatively new to the game. All my golf buddies say these are for grandmas but from what I’ve seen they make the game easier and more fun. That’s what counts and who cares what other people think

My takeaway is that Mr Shortgame needs to add hybrids to his set.

I'm 65. Playing golf since age 12. Today I am a 14 handicap. I have had three back surgeries, left shoulder rebuilt, and more. Several years ago, I built a hybrid set myself with Bang heads. I made the change to senior graphite shafts. If I had more plying time or practice time, I could shave a few strokes off the handicap, but life happens, work, etc. This type of head design has helped me a lot. I can't turn like I once did. Easy clubs to hit solidly almost every time, if I am paying attention. If you do not know your swing speed, you may want to get it verified. Yes, the senior shafts for me, gave me back a nice ball flight and distance. That was a huge game improvement for me. Make the new tech work for you.

I remember about 12 years ago a good player from a rival highschool team started playing “hybrid irons” when they first came out I think the brand was Idea. Kid miraculously started playing really well and everyone hated him and called him a cheater for using them cus they were so damn easy to hit. In reality everyone wanted to try them and were just jealous 😂

MSG, awesome vids in general, this one is off the charts. I'm 73 have gone though some Medical stuff, playing my Cobra's, practice with my blades. I'm a pragmatist so I think for my age these might be a good idea. Thanks!! I heard about these clubs before but your great video hit home.

Really looking at 3-6 from
Elven for the top end of my bag. I have always struggled with long irons

I'll be 70 in a couple of weeks, played SLDR's since they came out . Don't have the strength and speed any more for those. SO I ordered a full set today ! Come on spring !!! . Love your videos, thanks for all you do !

Ok. Back from range. OMG. Great results. Easy to hit as long as you swing a little easier. 5 hybrid was flying 185. 4 hybrid over that. Not sure on the distance but it was a bit more piercing ball flight. I’m 56 and haven’t had my 4 or 5 iron in my bad for a while.

Hi Matt. Great reviews on the equipment 👍👍. I'm just curious to know why the good players don't like to use them since they're easier to hit and easier to score with. At the end of the round, the player with the best score wins the trophy or the bets with the guys you play with. Golf doesn't care what clubs one uses and I hear lots of golfers, myself included, always searching for the clubs that will help improve our game to shoot lower scores. Wouldn't this be it? Plus, I thought some ladies are using them on LPGA tour and the men on Champions tour, correct? I was thinking if a PGA tour player can use to lower his score by 1 or 2 strokes per round, that would mean a lot more cuts made and more cash in their bank, wouldn't it? Just curious to know also if you play a round or two per week with these clubs, would you see your scores improve or not. Thanks for sharing your reviews!

Thanks for the video... I'm 47 and I have been watching every video I can regarding these clubs as I am seriously looking at these as well as my mother(68). The overwhelming result of every video I have watched is that these are amazing. My golf app has me at a 14 handicap(I only play socially) and have just started playing regularly again after about 20 years. I don't care about the stigma associated with a full hybrid set. I naturally love hitting down on the ball so I think I should have good spin for the mid and short hybrids. I thought my gap wedge made golf easier these look even better. My short game saves me alot but my current set of SLDR's don't like me overhitting down and chunk it from time to time.

I have the Callaway hybrids 3 to Pw. Play golf since I was 7 so that is 70 years, I love the hybrids and if I wear these out I will try the Elevens. Thanks for the video Matt.

I use Cleveland's hybrid-like irons from about 5 years ago. They help me especially when the ground is wet. When it is dry, I tend to play traditional clubs that keep the ball down out of the wind. But every year, it seems like I play the Cleveland clubs more and the others less.

As a former student of your's from your California days I can attest to having a hybrid set when you're a higher handicap player. I purchased a set of KZG hybrids a year ago and it really changed my game. The Eleven hybrids have stronger lofts than the KZG so I bet they go a little further. the only thing I would say is that they sometimes are a bit harder to hit out of the rough but I'm consistently breaking 90 and having more fun then when I was playing Ben Hogan Edge Irons. If you need any help testing those for the average Joe send them my way haha. Great to see hybrids getting a little more attention. Lets make golf more fun!
