Filling a box truck FULL of antiques

Today we picked up some beautiful doors for our home renovation project, Mystery on Mack . We got them from one of our favorite antique stores Bay City Antiques in Bay City, Michigan about two hours north of Detroit. Bay City Antiques Has been open since 1983 and has been filled with by amazing antiques by the owners Bill and Elaine. For over 40 years Bill and Elaine traveled the world collecting antiques to sell in their store. In 1989 they bought the rest of the building and let other antique dealers sell their finds, it is now the largest antique center in the state. But sadly their storage building has fallen into disrepair. Fortunately for us they had a large number of doors they needed taken away and we knew just the place to take them.

Was very interesting to hear from Bill & Elaine. 60, 000 sq feet is insane! Bill is a smart man; he saw a good opportunity and took it up. Nice to see so much of the salvage pieces and the doors!
