Here is a short review of my experience with the Ford Performance Oil-Air Separator on my 2017 Mustang GT. This particular model is from Ford Performance and it is part number: M-6766-A50

Ford Performance has a note that this catch can doesn't fit on cars equipped with the Power Pack 2-due to throttle body stack up/alignment. As you can see, I have the Power Pack 2 installed and don't have any issues with the Oil-Air Separator.

Specs from Ford:

Nice I use a JLT version on my S197. Your instructions are always clear and helpful.

Great video
Question...
Can l the plastic engine cover be reinstalled?
Looks like I will have to remove mine on my 2016 GT to install it.
Don't know if the tower strut interfers with the removal.
Any thoughts?
Thanks

Do you have the larger Ford Performance Aluminum Radiator? They claim it won’t fit if you have it. Looks like the clearance issue is supposed to because the wider radiator moves the coolant reservoir back towards the valve cover enough that the catch can won’t fit in between. But it looks like you may have that radiator and it still fits. Might have been too close for them to give it the green light. If it’s touching the reservoir it’s possible in their eye it could damage it from the motor moving under heavy load.

Maybe you should read your manual . recommended for track use. separator requires no maintenance oil drains back to engine!
