I've seen people do this before. They take an extended break just before Mettaton's final battle, and they forget how to shoot, deal with blue attacks, and/or that they have more than one page of inventory in battle...

When you pose, the ratings go up depending on how hurt you are. The more damage you've taken, the more the ratings boost.

When you heal turn, you make the audience upset, so when you get hit, the ratings go up.

When you boast, you say you're not going to get hit at all. The ratings go up slowly during that turn, but if you get hit, the audience gets upset and go down.

Also, the first person that called Mettaton was Napstablook.
