I have a challenge for you guys from the last episode! Mid-Air landing. Put some sort of platform onto the Kraken, something like a boxing ring to hold on the landing aircraft. Then attempt to land on the Kraken! Great videos guys, keep it up!

great video!
I'm filming a wedding on the weekend, and I can't help but think that following alex's advice: "get to a point where you're comfortably with your proximity to whatever you're filming. and then get even closer" may not go down too well :P

It would be VERY cool and helpful to have David go an up to date tricoper set up. I am looking to make one like David's.

Hello Flitetest,
Can you make a episode, when you make a long range flight? I mean 5-20miles?
You have a 433mhz radio and a 1.3ghz and 900mhz video transmitter.
Thats enough for long range.
I would love that. Because you never did that ever before.
Thanks I love your Videos! :)

It´s exactly the way how you describe it. You put my thoughts (and what we do practically as Team Maulwurf) into words. The footage is more important than the fear of crashing. Be a good pilot, feel the machine as an extention of yourself and practice until you don´t need to think about what you are doing.

Guys...another great, inspiring video. And David...you are looking great man! It is amazing to see the progress of all of you over the years. Josh Scott is a much better pilot than he was several years ago...and props for it!
I look to you guys a ton for ideas and advice, and it just keeps getting better.
Thanks for doing what yall do! I would kill to someday share the field with you.

Have you ever tried putting on two receivers and video transmitters and have one pilot and one cameraman for one copter? With the recording camera on a two axis swivel controlled by the cameraman and the board camera fixed :D If nothing else, this could be an interesting project for you guys ;) Greetings from Sweden!

Love your videos guys. Always well done. I'm sure going to miss David :-( . I'd love to see a tare down or show and tell of how some of the multi rotors are put together. That would help visualize how it all works and how parts all work together.

I notice quite a few similarities between this and playing a combat flight simulator, except with aerial photography your target is cooperative. Also, again from computer games... If you're rotating around something keep your roll (sideways pitch) constant, so your rotation speed is constant and use your yaw to adjust your distance from the target. If your roll is to the right, put the target in the left side of the screen to back off and on the right side to move closer. Keep the target centered to maintain a constant distance.
