Mothers and grandmothers and I can see them all in heaven happy and it’s beautiful I hope one day see them alone with my 3 dogs Tasbaco a huskie mix with wolf live 7 yrs who lead me and my husband to safety in a snow storm in Alaska and Luckey Makaveli 17 yrwho was Bullmaster and Sugar I recently passed last last yrs to cancer she was 16 yrs old I’ve seen my husband and all 3 pets running in a green field of beautiful green tall grass with every flowers of color they were happy playing ball I use to play this song for me and Sugar early morning setting watching the stars

I came of age in Detroit celebrating the Motown sound & everything that it represented. In 1971, I came across a great FM station out of Windsor (CJOM) that, beginning at midnight, played only Jazz & Blues (e.g., Gil Scott-Heron, etc.). "Pieces of a Man" rings as true today as it did then. "I'm gonna take myself a piece of sunshine & paint it all over my sky...."
