About Western Ghats
The Western Ghats, otherwise called Sahyadri, is a mountain range that covers a space of 180,000 km2 corresponding toward the western bank of the Indian peninsula, crossing the States of Kerala, Tamilnadu, Karnataka, Goa, Maharashtra, and Gujarat.
Western Ghats covers chain of mountains, rivers ,open grass lands and dense forests. The Western Ghats are one of the most biodiverse places in the world.
