What is deontology?

Deontology (deontological ethics or duty ethics) is the theory that argues that the morality of a human act (its rightness or wrongness) depends on whether it fulfills a duty or not, rather than on virtue or on its consequences.

In this video, we discuss what Deontology is and give an example.
