Tutorial: Generate dynamic QR-Codes with PHP directly on your website

Welcome to my tutorial :-)

In this tutorial we will see how to:

1. Download the code library (simple .PHP file)
2. create a PHP document with a simple HTML-Form
3. Generate a QR-Code from the Text within the HTML-Form

Note: If you do not have GD-Library in your PHP-Installation, you need to install this first!!!

hello sir, im new to QR code. May i know can we encrypt / set password to the qr code so that each time when a person would want to view the content of the qr code (pdf file) will be asked to enter the password before they can proceed to view the content? waiting for your reply.

Thanks for this tutorial. Question: is it possible to make a dynamic QR code without using a service? I elaborate: for “dynamic” I mean a QR code that remain identical when you change the URL (for example I print a QR code on a tshirt with the URL of a video, then I change the video destination, but the QR code remains the same). This is offered by various on-line services but I'd prefer not sharing my infos with unknown third party services. Is that possible?

yes, you can generate every link like this.
its only the lengths of the text field that is limited in my example.
if you make your own generator you can increase the lengths...

how to do it with multiple textfields? example Name:, Address: and contact number:...so it has 3 textfields...how would i process the 3 inputs when i press generate?
